Scenario: a voice AI assistant that answers the restaurant phone
30 September 2026
At peak hours nobody picks up the phone, and a missed call is a lost table. A voice AI assistant answers every call in the guest’s language.
Typical problems
- At peak hours the phone rings while the team is busy — calls are missed, and so are bookings.
- Tourists call in English or Russian, and not every host is comfortable with it.
- Nobody knows what was agreed on the phone: there are no notes and no recordings.
How it can be implemented in ResoGuest
- Phone number. Connect an incoming number (for example a Thai +66 number) through your operator's SIP trunk.
- Assistant knowledge. Fill in opening hours, menu, address, parking and rules — the voice assistant answers from this data.
- Bookings by voice. The assistant checks availability and creates a booking in ResoGuest; the guest then receives a confirmation in the messenger.
- Guest's language. The assistant detects the language and switches between English, Russian and Thai during the call.
- Transfer to a person. For complex requests — events, complaints — the call is transferred to a manager.
- Calls section. Every call is saved with a recording, transcript, short AI summary and translation into the venue's language.
What the client gets
- Calls are answered even when the team is busy, and bookings are not lost.
- Guests are served in their own language.
- The manager sees the gist of every call without listening to recordings.
Who it fits
Restaurants with many phone bookings, tourist areas with international guests, venues open late. Number activation depends on the venue's telecom operator. Contact us: [email protected]
