Scenario: QR ordering at the table and a self-service kiosk
30 September 2026
Guests wait for a menu, then for the waiter, then for the bill. QR ordering and a kiosk remove the waiting — here is how to set them up.
Typical problems
- At peak hours guests wait for a waiter just to place an order, and some leave.
- At the counter a queue builds up while the cashier takes orders and payments.
- Orders are re-typed into the POS by hand, with mistakes in modifiers.
How it can be implemented in ResoGuest
- Menu in one place. Import or build the menu with photos, modifiers and translations (EN/RU/TH); the menu syncs with Syrve.
- QR codes on tables. Generate a QR code for each table: the guest scans it, sees the menu in their language and orders. The order goes directly to the Syrve kitchen with the table number.
- Self-service kiosk. Put a touch screen at the counter in kiosk mode: dine-in or takeaway, the guest chooses dishes and modifiers on their own.
- Electronic queue board. A screen shows order numbers "preparing" and "ready" — no shouting names at the counter.
- Loyalty in every order. The guest enters a phone number — points are credited, the order appears in their profile.
- Feedback after the order. With the NPS module the guest rates the visit; unhappy responses go privately to the manager.
What the client gets
- Orders reach the kitchen without re-typing and without waiting for a waiter.
- The counter serves more guests at peak hours, and staff focus on service.
- Every QR or kiosk order becomes a known guest with history and points.
