Scenario: a hotel restaurant that knows its in-house guests

30 September 2026

Hotel guests walk past the restaurant every day, but the restaurant knows nothing about them. Hotel Connect links the stay, the table and the loyalty card.

Typical problems

  • The restaurant does not know which guests live in the hotel, when they check out and what they like.
  • Hotel guests eat outside because nobody invited them in time.
  • Restaurant loyalty and hotel stays live in different systems, and the guest has two unrelated profiles.

How it can be implemented in ResoGuest

  1. Connect the PMS. In the Hotel Connect module connect the hotel PMS: stays with dates and room numbers become visible in ResoGuest.
  2. One guest profile. The in-house guest is matched with the restaurant profile by phone or e-mail — history, points and preferences in one card.
  3. Booking for stay dates. The host sees "room 305, check-out tomorrow" in the booking; the guest can book a table for their stay dates through the widget or the messenger bot.
  4. Invitation on arrival. An automatic message on check-in day invites the guest to dinner or breakfast with a personal offer.
  5. Charge to room. Room charges are handled by the standard POS–PMS link; ResoGuest relies on it and focuses on the guest and loyalty.
  6. After check-out. The guest keeps the loyalty card and receives news — a reason to come back to the restaurant as a local visitor.

What the client gets

  • The restaurant sees in-house guests and their stay dates.
  • More F&B revenue from people already staying at the hotel.
  • One profile for the stay and the restaurant, and a channel to the guest after check-out.
