Scenario: memberships at a sauna club without paper notebooks or spreadsheets
30 September 2026
10-visit passes, monthly unlimited and an annual club card: one-tap check-in, fair freezes and a clear visits-left counter for every guest.
Picture a sauna club with a steam room, a hammam and a cold plunge. In the evening there is a queue at reception, and the front desk has a tablet plus a paper notebook where membership visits are ticked off. A guest asks, "How many visits do I have left?" — and the page-flipping begins.
Typical problems
Memberships sell, but they live apart from everything else:
- visits left are counted by hand, and guests sometimes disagree;
- "freeze it while I'm away on business" is agreed verbally — later nobody remembers how long to extend;
- the team finds out a pass is running out only when the guest is already at the desk;
- regulars are familiar faces to the staff, but invisible to the system.
How it can be implemented in ResoGuest
- In "Subscriptions & Memberships" create plans, for example:
- 10 visits valid for 90 days — for once-a-week guests;
- Monthly unlimited — for those who come every other day;
- Annual club card with up to 30 freeze days a year.
- Give each plan a validity period, a visit limit and a freeze allowance.
- Link the membership to the guest's CRM profile — alongside visit history, preferences and loyalty points.
How it looks at reception
The guest gives their phone number, the receptionist finds them in a second and taps Check in. The counter shows "6 of 10 left". Checked in by mistake? The last visit can be undone — no calls to the manager.
Guest going on holiday? Tap Freeze. When the pass is unfrozen, the validity is automatically extended by exactly the frozen days, within the plan's limit. No more verbal deals.
What the client gets
- No more arguments about visits left: there is one number, and both staff and owner see it.
- Active, Frozen, Expired and Exhausted statuses are visible at a glance — it's easy to see who is due for a renewal offer.
- The owner sees who actually comes and who bought and disappeared — and can send those guests a personal offer through broadcasts.
- Every member joins the shared guest base: birthday greetings, bonus points for reviews, event invitations.
Who it's for
Saunas and bathhouses, spas and massage studios, wellness and fitness clubs, yoga studios. Memberships are a separate module, "Memberships & Club Passes" (included in Pro and Premium), and run on a single tablet at reception. Contact us: [email protected]
A membership is a promise to the guest. When visits, validity and freezes are counted fairly, guests renew without being chased.
